Metal bending is a key stage of sheet metal fabrication. To make precise bends in sheet metal requires skill, appropriate technology and the correct jigs or forms to achieve the desired engineering dimensions. At Taiwa we have more than 20 years of experience in metal bending, the best Japanese machinery and a huge library of jigs to choose from to ensure excellent results, every time.
Taiwa combines technology, training, and experience for perfect results
Metal bending is an art. Even using high quality machinery it takes a skilled operator to get the best results. At Taiwa, our sheet metal bending operatives receive over 300 hours of training and examination to ensure they are sufficiently skilled to achieve the tolerances and precision required.
When you put an experienced operator at the controls of state-of-the-art metal bending machines and give them all the resources they need, you can expect to achieve very high quality, accurate, and efficient results. This is the foundation of our excellence in sheet metal fabrication.
Simulation, safety and calibration all increase production efficiency
Before we even start bending, we simulate the results using AMADA CAD/CAM design software, which enables us to input material characteristics and tweak the machine programming to optimize the results without extensive, and wasteful, prototyping. We follow up all stages of sheet metal fabrication with quality control validation to ensure tolerances are met.
Other advantages of using professional machinery from AMADA is the high level of safety built in to protect our operators, and the ease with which we can carry out regular calibration and servicing to ensure precision standards are maintained. This gives us additional peace of mind when we are planning our production processes.
We rely on precision AMADA Japanese metal bending technology
We employ Japanese AMADA sheet metal fabrication technology across our production line. This is because in our long experience we have found that AMADA builds the most accurate, reliable, safe and eco-friendly metal bending, cutting and punching machines with a range of sizes and features that matches the needs of our customers extremely well.
The AMADA HG8025 press brake machine with active hydraulic crowning is both extraordinarily precise, and eco-friendly, because of its on-demand servo hydraulics. Our AMADA 1303NT, which features the same advanced hydraulics, can accurately press lengths up to 3000mm, enabling us to accept the largest of sheet metal fabrication projects.
An extensive library of jigs & forms speeds the production workflow
An important factor when looking for a quality sheet metal fabricator is whether they have the range and depth of equipment and tooling required to make the job successful without additional complication and expense.
Over our long history of sheet metal fabrication, Taiwa has built a very extensive inventory of forms, jigs and dies. This equips us to produce perfect bends for almost any customer requirement of material and thickness without the expense of additional tooling or processing.
